Know when someone registers a domain that looks like yours
Fraudsters register names like yourcompany-invoices.com or y0urcompany.co.uk to fool your customers and staff. Lookalike Watch checks hundreds of these every day, searches HTTPS certificate logs for your name, and emails you when one appears or starts sending email.

How it works
From set-up to the first alert
- 01
Add your domain
Your main website domain, plus any others you own so they never alert.
- 02
We build the lookalikes
Hundreds of variations: typos, swapped and doubled letters, 1 for l, rn for m, Cyrillic letters, other endings and names like yours-login.com.
- 03
Daily checks
Each one is looked up in DNS every day, and certificate logs are searched for any new HTTPS certificate containing your name.
- 04
An email when it matters
Only when a new lookalike appears, or an old one gets a website, email or a fresh certificate.

What you get
Built for the job, nothing extra
Spot the domain before the phishing email
Most lookalikes are registered days before they're used. A new registration, a new HTTPS certificate or mail servers being set up are the warning signs.
- Typos, lookalike letters and other endings
- Brand plus words like login, invoice and support
- Certificate logs catch names no list would predict
Urgent, watch or parked
A lookalike that can send email is a direct invoice-fraud risk. One with a website may be a fake login page. A parked domain is noted and watched quietly.
- Email set up: urgent
- New certificate in the last 30 days: urgent
- Website only: watch. Nothing set up: parked
Mark it once, never hear about it again
Some lookalikes belong to you or to an unrelated business. Mark them as not a concern and they stay listed but never alert.
- Your own domains left out
- One email per day at most
- Who-registered-it lookup for reporting
Who it's for
Made for the people who get the blame
“A supplier or customer gets a convincing email from a domain one letter off yours, asking for payment to new bank details.”
- Warned when a lookalike gets email
- Time to alert customers
- Evidence for your bank

FAQ
About Lookalike Watch
Does it find every lookalike?
No tool can. It checks the most common tricks (several hundred names) and searches certificate logs for your name. It won't see a lookalike with no DNS and no certificate, or one using a completely different name.
Is every lookalike malicious?
No. Many are parked, held for resale, or belong to an unrelated business with a similar name. That's why each one is rated, and you can mark any of them as not a concern.
What should I do when I get an alert?
Warn staff and customers not to trust email from that domain, and don't open the site. If it's impersonating you, report it to the registrar using the ICANN lookup link. You can also report phishing to the NCSC at report@phishing.gov.uk.
How often is it checked?
Every day. You can also check again on demand, once an hour.
What does it cost?
